📝 It’s mulchin’ time

October 18, 2023

Good morning, Madison!

If anyone else thinks it’s getting a bit chilly out there, you’re not alone.

At Henry Vilas Zoo, you can tell winter is coming by the way the badgers are sleeping. Apparently, when the weather starts to cool, badgers will flip from sleeping on their backs to their stomachs.

Check out these photos for some (adorable) proof.

Lawsuit Seeks to Toss Wisconsin School Choice Program

The first school choice program in Wisconsin was created more than 30 years ago — and it’s been fought over ever since. If you’d rather send your kid to a private school than your local public school, and you have a low income, the state will pay for it. What started out as an experimental pilot program, now pays for more than 50,000 private school students.

A new lawsuit claims it’s unconstitutional.
