🥡 Goodbye Little Palace

  • The American Chinese restaurant on King Street will close its doors in December. Owners Jacqueline and Stephanie Le announced their plans to step away from the restaurant they opened in 2022 to take over their other family restaurant, Hạ Long Bay.
  • But this might not be the last we see of Little Palace. “As we navigate our new venture in continuing our family’s legacy through Ha Long Bay, we will also be exploring how and when we will be able to fully realize our vision for Little Palace in the near future,” the two wrote in a social media statement. 🦌 Big Drop in Deer Hunting Harvest

  • Hunters killed significantly fewer deer during Wisconsin's nine-day gun season this year. According to the DNR, 173,942 deer were harvested from Nov. 18-26. This is a 17.6% decrease from the 2022 season and roughly 11% below the state's five-year average.
  • Despite the lower harvest numbers, interest in gun hunting has held strong. This year, the DNR sold 553,479 gun hunting permits, down only slightly from the 554,898 licenses sold in 2022. [Channel 3000]
