What's CITY Talking About?

Rather than a full "no mow" May the city is opting for a "low mow" May. (City of Madison)

🌼 Low Mow May

  • Happy May! The city is asking residents to reconsider how many times they mow their lawns this season. Similar to last year, the city is encouraging property owners to raise their mowing decks and limit mowing to twice a month.
  • Why? Taller grass and an abundance of native plants lead to happy pollinators, which help make a healthy ecosystem thrive.
