⚾ ‘Mr. Baseball’ Bob Uecker Dies at 90

  • Bob Uecker, the broadcaster who was the voice of the Milwaukee Brewers for 54 years, died Thursday at 90.
  • Uecker became a national icon for his off-field roles as a Miller Lite pitchman, frequent guest on “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson,” and actor in films like “Major League.” But it was the Baseball Hall of Famer’s lifelong connection with his hometown and his team that made him beloved.
  • “(Uecker) was the light of the Brewers, the soundtrack of our summers, the laughter in our hearts, and his passing is a profound loss,” the Brewers said in a statement. “He was the heart and soul of Wisconsin and a dear friend.” [ 🔒MJS]

This week on the Friday Floof, Nori takes center stage! Nori loves playing outside, lazing on the couch, and using her big paws to box with her human friends. She is also a Wisconsin dog through and through and loves cheese. What she does not love is when someone gets out the vacuum cleaner, or when her kitten sibling Mochi eats her dinner.
